 and Alberta Niemann (FORT) of the program Artist in Residence Siegen prese
 nt the results of their residency year in Siegen publicly for the first ti
 me in an exhibition.\n\nFor one year\, the artists dedicated themselves to
  the theme of fear and worry and\, in collaboration with the University of
  Siegen and the Museum of Contemporary Art\, built up an 'Archive of Sorro
 ws'. For this purpose\, they anonymously collected worries and fears of th
 e population over several weeks. These varied from personal fears such as 
 loneliness\, failure\, social decline or the loss of loved ones\, to fear 
 of war and illness\, to late buses or arguments with neighbors.\n\nThe exh
 ibition opening for 'Archive of Sorrows' will take place on Wednesday\, Oc
 tober 25\, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall of Siegen (Markt 2\, 57072 S
 iegen). Already at 17.00 a public Artist Talk with the artist duo FORT and
  guests will take place in the City Hall.\n\nBoth events will be held in G
 erman spoken language.\n\n \n\nA project by the artist duo FORT\, realized
  within the framework of the Artist in Residence Program Siegen of the Uni
 versity of Siegen & the Museum of Contemporary Art Siegen.\n \n
