 rough Siegen invites you to discover the city's history from an anti-colon
 ial perspective and to reveal its colonial interconnections between the pa
 st and the present.\n\nOver a period of about 1.5 to 2 hours\, students fr
 om the University of Siegen will guide you to various locations in the cit
 y where colonial history\, memory culture and today's social power relatio
 ns intersect. They present their own research\, perspectives and artistic 
 approaches that show how deeply colonial continuities are still inscribed 
 in our everyday lives today – in language\, consumption\, architecture and
  power structures that we often accept without question.\n\nThe walk will 
 be accompanied by Lea Weckert (Lecturer\, University of Siegen) and Jessic
 a Schiefer (Museum of Contemporary Art Siegen).\nTogether with the partici
 pants we create an open space for exchange\, critical reflection and new f
