To complete its major extension project, the Museum für Gegenwartskunst Siegen (MGKSiegen) will close for several months on September 28, 2026. This closure is due to the extensive work required to complete the final phase of construction, as well as some remaining renovation work on the existing building. The restaurant Ristorante e Piazza and the MGKSiegen Atelier will remain open. In the meantime, the museum is taking its activities to other venues across the city and the region as part of the MGKSiegen ON TOUR.
We look forward to the grand reopening of the new MGKSiegen in the summer of 2027!
