Mischa Kuball

At the museum's opening exhibition in 2001, the work “Kompressor” by Mischa Kuball (born 1959) already formed an important position in the Museum für Gegenwartskunst's intermediary “Dialogue of Media”.

The current exhibition “Lucky number” presents new works by the Düsseldorf-based artist, which were created between 1999 and 2003. In addition to projects for public spaces, Kuball has been working artistically since the early 1990s with complexly structured, space-related multiple projects. In harmony with the temporarily superimposed transparent images and reflections, different themes are addressed. In addition to the spatial installations and photographs on display, Mischa Kuball is also showing representative video works.
