Intermedia
Dialogue of the media
The best in contemporary art today moves between genres – this was the unanimous conclusion of artists and art critics in the 1960s. The museum's first presentation sheds light on the inter-media exchange between music, literature, visual arts and theatre and the general awakening of art.
Permanent Presentation
The opening exhibition presents central artistic positions that stand for new intermediary strategies. The focus is on outstanding works from the 1960s and 1970s and their new media of photography and video. They are juxtaposed with individual historical and contemporary works that pursue comparable concepts.
