The Becher house in Mudersbach

Reading and talk with author Hanns-Josef Ortheil

In his new book "Kunstmomente" (btb), the writer Hanns-Josef Ortheil asks the unusual question of "how he learned to see. In the course of a reading, he explores this question in greater depth using selected paintings and photographs, which sketch out an autobiography of gazes and show how they became creative inspirations for literary texts. Part of the reading will also be devoted to Laurenz Berges' photographs in the museum's ongoing exhibition capturing the Becherhaus in Mudersbach.

The event will take place in the museum's foyer. Tickets are included in the admission price and can be purchased in our new ticket shop from now on. Remaining tickets are available at the box office.

In German.
