The practical art workshop ‘Silence and Movement in Drawing’, which will take place for the first time on Saturday, 24 January, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will sharpen participants' conscious perception. Siegen-based artist Sabine Helper-Müller will introduce participants to various drawing techniques in front of original works by Giorgio Morandi at the Museum für Gegenwartskunst Siegen. Drawing is much more than the reproduction of forms – it is an intensive examination of the world around us. Through focused observation, details are recognised that would otherwise be overlooked in everyday life. No prior knowledge is required. The workshop will take place on three additional dates, 7 and 21 February and 7 March. The workshops can be attended individually.
