Museum of Shadows
Curatorial Tour with Jessica Schiefer, trainee
Based on the work Museum of Shadows (Il museo delle ombre) by Diango Hernández, the exhibition brings together further works from the MGKSiegen collections, which bring light and shadow into the rooms of the museum. In addition to photography, slide projection, video, drawing and sculpture, the works on display primarily combine the medium of light. Artificial light becomes a carrier of social, political and cultural stories, but also of individual world views. The selected works illuminate the museum from within and thus create special spaces for experience.
Our volunteer and curatorial assitant for the exhibition Jessica Schiefer will guide you through these rooms on Thursday, April 18 at 6 pm.
