I DON'T REALLY DISTINGUISH BETWEEN SCULPTURE AND PERFORMANCE
Taking Beier’s quote in the title as our starting point, we explore the seemingly contradictory concepts of sculpture and performance. Whilst sculpture is permanent, performance is temporary. Following in Beier’s footsteps, we will identify themes from the exhibition and use them as a source of inspiration to determine the focus for the performative installation, social experiment or collaborative performance that we will develop together. Everyday materials will be provided, which can be used as a basis for the group activity.
