This workshop programme is aimed at children aged between 6 and 11. Works of art from the museum’s collections are discussed in a playful way, followed by an opportunity for the children to get creative themselves.

Children are guided by artists and museum educators in a way that is appropriate for their age.

Note: From 28 September, the art appreciation sessions and hands-on creative activities will take place exclusively in the studio spaces, as our main buildings are closed.

The event is taking place as part of the MKGSiegen ON TOUR project – because we’re currently on the move. From 28 September, the museum will be relocating its activities to other venues in the city, to surrounding regions and to the digital space. This is because, apart from the studio, the museum building is currently closed due to the new extension.
