at the animal shelter
What is life like for the animals at the animal shelter? What do they need to thrive? And what can we actually learn from them?
In the ‘Tierisch wichtig’ programme, children aged 6 to 10 visit the Siegen animal shelter and gain an insight into everyday life there during a guided tour. Any questions or thoughts that arise can then be explored in a creative workshop afterwards. In this way, the visit becomes a creative exploration of animals’ needs.

The event is part of the MKGSiegen ON TOUR project – because we’re currently on the move. From 28 September, the museum is relocating its activities to other venues in the city, in surrounding regions and online. This is because, apart from the studio, the museum building is currently closed due to the new extension.
